If you keep a blog yourself, particularly one that seems to yearn for lengthy articles of some substance, you can appreciate that of the hundreds of little ideas that float through your mind you only really have time to write a few into fleshed out pieces. Half that number if you’re a parent. Thus, in an effort to encourage myself to write a little bit more here — and not swaying too much from the practicalities of either the blog’s true purpose or my duties as a dad — I’ve implemented a miniblog on the sidebar that will be devoted to one or two line bits that I think don’t (or can’t) warrant a longer post. These may or may not contain links (for which you will need to click to see the actual article) and will mostly be passing thoughts that would barely fill a teaser clip. I hope you enjoy the changes.
