Dear Readers,

Albeit the updates have been few and far between lately, but given that I neither bombard you — wonderful readers of the skepdad blog — with advertisements nor offer up other solicitations for your hard-earned cash, you’ll forgive me for doing the humanist thing and using the blog to plug a cause. My little sister, aunt to The Girl, has found herself a volunteering niche raising research money for cancer. I’ve opted to help her out this year, and not only will I be spending an evening participating in a fundraiser, I’ll be volunteering as well.
